 The Plume of Feathers Inn is situated in the moorland village of Princetown, which is Dartmoors main village. On the outskirts of Princetown is the world renowned Dartmoor Prison, completed in 1809, it was originally built to house the French and American prisoners of war.
A traditional Dartmoor Inn, the Plume of Feathers is the oldest of Princetown's buildings, completed in 1785. Log fires and a selection of real ales make this family run Inn a great place to relax after a walk across Dartmoor's stunning landscape. High quality fayre from the menu and 'specials of the day' are served until 9pm.
With plenty of parking, a large fuction room, carvery, beer garden and childrens play area, the Plume of Feathers really is the place to visit on Dartmoor
